Fresh API-sourced standard prices only; premium domains can cost more
One search, every registrar
GetDomainPrice started with a simple frustration: finding a good domain name means opening several registrar tabs, typing the same name into each one, and trying to remember who charged what. This free independent project puts the useful information in one place.
Type a name and we check the registry directly, then show fresh API-sourced standard prices separately from dated estimates. We never present a standard TLD price as a guaranteed checkout quote. We do not sell domains ourselves and we do not take a cut.
GetDomainPrice does not sell domains, process payments or store searches. Prices can be displayed in PKR and more than 160 other currencies, and Pakistani extensions are included alongside popular global extensions.

How it works
Availability
We ask the registry's public RDAP service directly from your browser. A domain the registry does not know about is available. If a registry can't be queried, we fall back to a DNS check and mark the result "Likely available".
API prices
Porkbun publishes its standard price list through a public API. We refresh it daily and stop ranking it automatically if the snapshot becomes more than 48 hours old.
Dated estimates
Other retail prices are manually checked estimates. They are hidden by default, clearly dated, marked with ≈, and never included in the “Best verified” ranking.
Your currency
Pick any of 160+ currencies from the top bar. Registrars bill in USD; we convert at the day's exchange rate so you can see roughly what you'll pay.
Domain search and pricing FAQs
How does the domain availability checker work?
GetDomainPrice asks the appropriate public domain registry through RDAP. If that registry cannot be reached from your browser, it uses a DNS lookup and clearly labels the result as “Likely available” rather than certain.
Are the displayed domain prices guaranteed?
No. API-sourced values are current standard prices, not checkout quotes. A specific name can be classified as premium, and taxes, promotions, currency, location or account status can change the final total. Always use the verification link before purchasing.
Why can renewal cost more than registration?
Registrars often discount the first registration year. Renewal is the recurring price for keeping the domain, so GetDomainPrice displays registration and renewal separately whenever trustworthy data is available.
What is a premium domain?
A premium domain is a name that its registry considers especially valuable. Premium registration and renewal prices can be much higher than the ordinary price for that extension and must be confirmed with the registrar.
Does GetDomainPrice store domain searches?
No. Availability checks are sent directly from your browser to public registry services, with Cloudflare DNS used only as a fallback. This static website has no GetDomainPrice search database.
